What Does Hero Mean?

The Stafford County Volunteer Fireman’s Association is dedicated to protecting the health, life, and property of the community and the surrounding areas by providing the highest quality fire, medical, and emergency services. Their Core to the mission is the safety and education of the communities served. To ensure they are providing the best tools and education, they provide scholarships for continuous education for their members so they can work to spread the message of fire prevention, safety awareness, and public education to all members of the community. The Association is a non-profit volunteer firefighting department with over 80 active members who respond to over 2400 emergency calls a year.
